DOWNERS GROVE, Illinois, October 28, 2026 — Federal Signal Corporation (NYSE: FSS) (“Federal Signal” or the “Company”), a leader in environmental and safety solutions, today announced the completion of the acquisition of substantially all the assets and operations of Global Vacuum Systems, Inc. (“GVS”), a family-owned manufacturer of custom liquid vacuum tank (“LVT”) trucks, for a purchase price of approximately $29 million. The purchase price includes the acquisition of GVS’s manufacturing facility for approximately $15 million.

Founded in 1985 and based in Navasota, Texas, GVS designs and manufactures custom code and non-code liquid vacuum tank (“LVT”) trucks in carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

“GVS expands our presence in the code LVT truck market, a currently underserved sub-segment of the vacuum truck market for Federal Signal,” said Jennifer L. Sherman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Federal Signal. “The acquisition expands our manufacturing capacity and complements our existing vacuum truck portfolio, further strengthening the capabilities and market reach of our Vactor, TRUVAC, Guzzler, and Westech brands.”

GVS generated net sales of approximately $12 million for the year ended December 31, 2025.
