The firefighters claimed that the siren caused them hearing loss. The jury deliberated for less than an hour in exonerating the Company.

Consolidated net sales for the third quarter were $219.3 million, up 5% versus the same quarter a year ago. Third quarter income from continuing operations was $15.2 million, equal to $0.24 per diluted share, compared to $16.8 million, equal to $0.26 per diluted share, in the prior-year quarter.
